Michael S. Johnstone AIA provides forensic consulting services throughout the USA and Canada from his office in the mountains of Western North Carolina. There is often a need for an objective professional opinion when an accident has occurred or there is a dispute in a construction project. Bringing 30 years of design and construction management experience to the table, Michael can clarify issues and resolve conflicts.

Michael Johnstone has been a licensed architect since 1975 and a golf course architect since 1985. He has practiced throughout the United States and completed over $200 million in construction. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1972 with a BS in Architecture and participated in the Golf Course Design curriculum at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1985. He is a licensed architect in North Carolina and California. He is a 25 year member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board in Washington DC.
